    The Polaris Information Systems Internship Program (ISIP) accelerates career development for upcoming college graduates who wish to expand their in-classroom learning to build a foundation of business knowledge and leadership skills through a series of hands-on assignments. You will enhance your skills for future opportunities at Polaris post-graduation, specifically with the opportunity for consideration into our Information Systems Development Program (ISDP).

    During your internship you will be provided the support and resources you need to develop your business and leadership skills. Polaris is a fast paced environment, priding itself on staying up to date with cutting edge technology. Some examples include virtualization, hybrid storage, unified communications, agile and rapid development.

    What to expect:

    • A 12-15 week long internship where you will work alongside our full time team members to support the Information Systems Department.
    • Challenging assignments with personalized goals and projects that track directly to the needs of the business and allow you to have a hand in key company initiatives.
    • Collaborate on cross functional teams in order to design, develop and implement various projects.

    You will be placed into an assignment, based on interest and business need, in any of the following areas:

    • Applications Development
    • Systems Analysis
    • Project Management
    • Applications or Infrastructure Help Desk Support
    • PC/device/client Administration
    • Systems, Network or Database Administration
    • Security Administrator

    Checklist for success:

    • Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Business Administration, or other related areas. (Minimum overall GPA: 3.0)
    • The drive to actively contribute to both personal and company-wide goals through creative and innovative thinking
    • Proven strength in analysis and creative problem solving, communication, interpersonal relationships, self-motivation, and leadership
    • U.S. work authorization, no work visa or residency sponsorship available for this job opening.
