    JOB SUMMARY

    The Manager, IT Applications for Corporate, Clinical and Regulatory is responsible for administering and maintaining high quality and high performing business solutions that are aligned with INOVIO’s business goals and corporate technology environment. The position will monitor business system performance, train the user community, request and coordinate new software implementations and upgrades, troubleshoot issues and manage role-based access to systems.

    The Manager, IT Applications for Corporate, Clinical and Regulatory represents the voice of the customer, understanding the implicit and explicit needs of the business functions that support the Corporate, Clinical and Regulatory departments, ensuring the systems meet the requirements of the process owners and stakeholders. The position interfaces directly between the technology vendors, business process owners, users, and the IT team.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

    • Technology ownership of all Corporate, Clinical and Regulatory business applications and technologies
    • Ensure Corporate, Clinical and Regulatory technologies are performing as expected and troubleshoot issues
    • Monitor and resolve tier one and two technology incidents
    • Evaluate patch and upgrade impact on existing business processes and subsequent change management activities
    • Ensure the systems remain compliant with global health agency and SOX guidelines where applicable
    • Develop and deliver technology training for all user roles
    • Perform analysis on new or existing business processes and translate into technology requirements
    • Administer user access
    • Identify capability gaps and work with the business and vendor to close them
    • Liaison with IT for corporate infrastructure or business application interface requirements

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer/management information systems or a related field
    • 5 years of experience with on and off-premise business system administration
    • 5 years of experience within a Life Sciences company (i.e. Pharmaceuticals or Biotechnology)
    • 2 years of experience with eCTD and Regulatory Submission/Publishing systems
    • 2 years of experience with eTMF systems
    • 2 years of experience with Veeva Vault
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent relationship building and customer service skills
    • Understanding of SDLC methodology
    • Understanding of Computer System Validation and GLP regulations
    • Cross functional collaboration, influence and leadership skills
