Provides Manufacturing and Equipment support needs in a rapidly changing development and high volume manufacturing environment. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to schematics, repair manuals, or specifications. Performs Level 2 and Level 3 preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting diagnosis on production equipment. Resolves non-standard problems, works with minimal supervision, and can adjust to rapidly changing priorities. Works with Engineering to support new equipment installations, sustaining, and process improvement initiatives. (P) The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: -Must be a self-starter capable of managing own activities as well as supporting team activities. -Possesses problem-solving, data analytical, and methodological thinking. -Work in a dynamic and team-oriented environment. -Work with general or little instruction. -Verbal/written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with peers, engineering and customers. -Problem solving and troubleshooting abilities (P) Qualifications You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience. (P) Minimum qualifications: - Candidate must possess a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) certification, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree; or equivalent military training. - Previous Windows computer operating systems and Windows software applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook) experience. - This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position. - Candidate must be willing to: -Work a night shift compressed work week schedule. Shifts are twelve hours long and rotate from three to four days a week. There are four shifts which include Sunday/Monday/Tuesday every other Wednesday days (Shift 5); Thursday/Friday/Saturday every other Wednesday days (Shift 7); Sunday/Monday/Tuesday every other Saturday nights (Shift 4); and Wednesday/Thursday/Friday every other Saturday nights (Shift 6). -Lift up to 35 lbs. twice a month, and spend the majority of time (>90% less break time) on the floor working on tool sets, walking 2-4 miles a day, climb ladder and/or standing/sitting for 9 hours. -Work in confined spaces for extended periods of time in a clean room environment. -Read and interpret complex electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and system repair manuals. -Work on and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment systems. -Apply the use of mechanical/electrical measuring devices such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, metrology, and calibration equipment.
