Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. (P) Minimum Requirements -The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. -This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. (P) Preferred Qualifications (P) At least 3 months of experience in: -Application of sound engineering principles and technical problem solving. -Facilities operations, piping, mechanical systems such as (boilers, chillers, scrubbers, etc.) -Mechanical equipment (pumps, valves, etc) -Heat and/or mass transfer theory -Statistical methods, including Statistical Process Control.
