SSD Media System Intern Folsom, CA -Job ID:JR0082317 Job Category:Intern/Student Primary Location:Folsom, CA US Other Locations:US, California, Santa Clara Job Type:Intern -SSD Media System InternJob Description Intel is seeking a3rd or 4th year undergrad Engineering Intern with both hardware & software to join the Intel Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group team to help develop/validate the next generation of Intel's industry-leading PCIe Solid State Drives . (P) Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: -Enhance SSD firmware in areas of performance and power. -Characterize and analyze behavior of SSD firmware for performance and power. -Enhance interface of SSD with python characterization scripts. -Instrument SSD using custom scripts and an O-Scope to analyze low level drive behavior. (P) (P) Qualifications You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/ or work experience. (P) Minimum Requirements: -The candidate must be pursuing a BS degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields. -This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only.
