(P) Intel's Olympic Technology Group brings the latest Intel technology to the Olympic games in order to showcase a broad range of products/capabilities and drive business opportunities. The Algorithms & Machine Learning Co-op will solve cutting edge problems in applied Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in one or more of the following areas: predictive algorithms, computer vision, object detection and localization, athlete tracking, multi-stream data fusion, robotics, speech recognition, and natural language processing. Additionally, they will create prototypes for engaging with Tokyo Olympic Organizing Committee and Olympic partners. (P) Qualifications You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. (P) Minimum Requirements: - Must be pursuing a BS Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields such as Statistics, Physics, or Applied Math. - 3 to 6 months experience developing AI or Computer Vision prototypes. - This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. (P) Preferred Qualifications -Background in deep learning, machine learning, reinforcement learning & big data. -Experience designing professional software using Python. -Previous experience with optics and camera systems. -Interest and knowledge of sports, bio-mechanics, and athlete analytics preferred.
