Do you enjoy developing applications, automating manual tasks, and improving quality/processes? Are you looking for an opportunity to work on real, shipping products? If so, consider a position on the Client SSD OEM qualification team. This small and agile team is responsible for ensuring our SSDs meet and exceed customer requirements. We work closely with firmware engineers and application engineers (marketing) on planning, executing, and triaging on major OEM platforms. Your exact job will depend on team need and your interest, but may include writing code to automate tests, triaging issues, executing tests, documenting procedures, developing dashboards, and creating new test content. (P) Qualifications You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly. (P) Minimum Requirements: The candidate must be pursuing a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field. 6+ months of experience in the following areas: -C++, PowerShell, Python -Hands-on experience with computers, including ability to take them apart and troubleshoot (and put back together correctly) This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. (P)Inside this Business Group Non-Volatile Solutions Memory Group: The Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group is a worldwide organization that delivers NAND flash memory products for use in Solid State Drives (SSDs), portable memory storage devices, digital camera memory cards, and other devices. The group is responsible for NVM technology design and development, complete Solid State Drive (SSD) system hardware and firmware development, as well as wafer and SSD manufacturing.
