You will be part of a centralized team of site based Maintenance Planner/Schedulers. Daily tactical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing daily work schedules, making adjustments to said schedule, coordinating cross-discipline support for your operations team, and providing information and data to the operations manager. Strategic responsibilities include, but are not limited to preventative maintenance balancing/optimization, maintenance program reviews with system engineers providing recommendations for program improvements and efficiencies, teaming with Industrial Engineering on data, reporting, and maintenance improvement strategies, leading business process improvement/standardization efforts locally and cross a global network, etc. Competently develops and maintains CMMS content, asset, job plan work procedure, time and condition based maintenance records, queries, etc. Expertly navigates CMMS, asset hierarchy structure, information databases, and stores catalog and finds required information quickly. Manage asset and associated records as well as work orders within the CMMS System and update all applicable information e.g. asset numbers, maintenance classification, cost information, shut-down requirements, etc. Ensure all resources are available before work order is scheduled. Determine labor capacity for schedule. Develop and tracks craft/crew backlogs- Interview work requestors, confirm work classification and priority, develop scope of work with system owning facilities engineer, and inspect job location to determine job requirements. Scope work orders to estimate the craft, labor hours, parts, materials, equipment and special tools required to complete the job in a safe and cost-effective manner. Continuous improvement of the work order planning and scheduling process through the review and use of the metrics, analysis of work order flow, project demands and expectations. Competently select PM and PdM strategies, activities and scheduling of maintenance. Competently select suitable condition monitoring technology and methodology. Design experiments to optimize preventative maintenance on facility systems. Collect data, make recommendation and follow through on Copy Exact Change Control. Develop standards for repetitive jobs- Develop historical job estimates. Place required purchase requisitions for labor and materials and follow up on material orders and scheduling of deliveries. Maintain liaison with facilities technicians and other management regarding work execution, necessity of altering schedules and manpower status. Coordinate with manufacturing upcoming impactive work or factory shutdowns maintenance scope. Conduct / lead periodic planning & scheduling meetings to determine work order priorities and communicate work order status, track and record. Ensure maintenance conformance to schedule. Coordinate timely and safe completion of all work orders performed by contractors. Process and communicate with Operations Manager the details behind established maintenance metrics. Tracks all asset information, including spare parts and documentation. Arrange for special tools and equipment. Assist Operations Manager in identifying and executing team training needs in safety and job related skills. Knows and uses best task time management practices in order to manage and organize task requirements, people and resources effectively and efficiently to correctly complete a work order on time. Good oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of management and interface with a diverse customer base including technical and non-technical personnel. Proficiently run meetings and obtain consensus and agreement to action decisions Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: BS Engineering/technical degree (Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical are acceptable), or combination plus 1+ year's relevant facilities maintenance management experience. * You should possess a professional Maintenance Management or Planner/Schedule certificate Experience can be obtained thru military service. - 1- 3 years of expert industrial scheduling / planning experience using CMMS tools, including Maximo CMMS experience. - 1 - 3 years' experience working in a critical environment: fast paced manufacturing, powerhouse, or construction. * This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only.
