Job Description Intel is seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our Data Center Group DCG team as a Sheet Metal Fabrication Technician in the fabrication of precision sheet metal components ranging from a single bracket to a full chassis enclosure. The model shop is a service that expands multiple business units and provides a dynamic environment and variety of projects with a long history of prototype development that outside shops often "no bid". Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to: * Review 3D CAD models for design of manufacturability. * Layout sheet metal flat patterns. * Program the Laser cutter. * Bending operations on Amada Press Brake Forming custom forms. * Press in Hardware, Tapping, Riveting/Screwing Assemblies, Welding. Other lab related duties as required to support the engineering team. Qualifications Minimum Required Qualifications: Associate's degree, Apprenticeship, Certification Program in Sheet Metal Fabrication, or equivalent with 5 plus years of industry experience. * 5 plus years of experience in precision sheet metal fabrication. * 5 plus years of experience with Press Brake forming. * 2 plus years of experience programming on Laser Cutters. * 2 plus years of experience and knowledge of 3D CAD systems. Additional Preferred Qualifications: * 3 plus years of experience in a high mix/low volume Prototype shop is a plus. * CREO experience preferred in 3D CAD Systems. * Amada Press Brake preferred on press brake forming experience. * Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills on a team. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Demonstrate that adhering to safety is a top priority.
