Job Description

The AI COE at Rockwell Automation has an intern position available for a self-driven individual to participate in the development of applied AI solutions in close collaboration with the AI COE’s staff. A key target is to contribute to the simplification of the user workflow for the AI engine in closed loop operation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree from an accredited college or university

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science from an accredited college or university

• Strong experience with machine learning algorithms, workflows, and deep learning techniques.

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.

• Experience with AI/ML/DL libraries and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras).

• Familiarity with cloud-based solutions (e.g., Azure, AWS) for deploying and managing machine learning models.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Familiarity with MLOps principles and tools for managing the machine learning lifecycle.

• Experience with digital signal processing techniques and tools (e.g., FFT, wavelets).

• Knowledge of front-end development frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
