    Job Description

    Control Hardware Engineering interns are responsible for tasks and projects under the direction of lead development engineers that are focused on the development, design, analysis, testing, prototyping, and release of electronic hardware for automation control products. Control Hardware Engineering interns must be self-motivated, a self-starter, curious to gain and apply foundations of electrical engineering to practical applications from obsolescence component replacements, electrical, test and data acquisition equipment operation, troubleshooting, problem solving analysis and interest in hardware development. Must be able to work in a cross-functional and collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

    Primary Duties May Include:

    • Design and analyze components and automation systems

    • Product specification

    • Modify existing designs for improvement

    • Product testing and certification

    • Process improvement activities

    • Development of simulation tools

    • Cost reduction analysis

    • Update drawings

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited college or university

    • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or anytime in the future.

    • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Must be working towards a bachelor’s of science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Electro Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools

    • Strong communication skills - verbal and written

    • Basic knowledge of wiring circuits
