    Job Description

Rockwell Automation has multiple internships available in the Finance organization; our internship program is one of the key pipelines into the Finance Leadership Development Program.

    Interns are responsible for gathering and analyzing information, performing root cause analysis, identifying trends, and working across functions to resolve financial discrepancies and issues. Interns also have the opportunity to recommend improvements and alternatives to ensure processes and controls result in timely and accurate financials.

    Interns will be accountable for delivering an end of summer presentation in front of the Finance Leadership team; this gives our Interns the ability to practice their presentation skills and highlight accomplishments from their summer experience.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Financial Planning and Analysis (Software & Control Business Units, Intelligent Devices Business Units, Lifecycle Services Business Units, orCorporate)

    • Headquarters Accounting (Tax, Controllership or Internal Audit)

    CRITICAL CAPABILITIES

    • Informed decision making and critical thinking

    • Direct and indirect influencing

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited college or university

    • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75

    • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

    • Preference given to students met on campus, at a national recruiting event, through a Rockwell Automation-hosted event or a targeted recruiting campaign

    • Preferencegivento students who have had prior intern or co-op with Rockwell Automation

    • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
