    What Rockwell Needs from You

    We need a diverse workforce to do our best work. We need the makers, the forward thinkers, the problem solvers, and everything in between. That is where you come in. We are looking for a simulation intern who will be responsible for creating CAD model based environmental simulations using state of the art simulation tools.

    What You Will Do

    • Work with product designers on CAD models and create thermal simulation models
    • Analyse output and provide readout to product teams (with guidance from Simulation engineer mentor)
    • Create a simulation database and version control system to track and monitor simulation and results to report using tools like Git & confluence

    Skills You Have

    • Mechanical or electrical design fundamentals
    • Simulation tools usage (preferred)

    Basic Qualifications

    • Pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree from an accredited college or university
    • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
    • Legal authorization to work in the US is required- we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or anytime in the future.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering
    • 2 years of experience in Electrical or Mechanical Design Basics
    • Preference given to students who have had prior intern or co-op with Rockwell Automation
    • Preference given to students met on campus, at a national recruiting event, through a Rockwell Automation-hosted event or a targeted recruiting campaign
    • Familiarity with Ansys Tools, Creo Tools and Mentor Tools
