    Job Summary

    The purpose of this role is to help strengthen the foundation of the internal control structure for Interior Products Group (IPG) organization that is composed by 3 business units, namely: Gypsum, Insulation and Architectural Specialties. The person in this role will have the opportunity to work closely with IPG's Compliance Officer and Business Analyst, interacting with employees from a number of different departments and functions, becoming familiar with their key processes and internal control systems. In this role, the person will be assessing gaps in existing internal control structure, working with the various departments to improve internal control systems and organizing the relevant work documents in an effective manner by migrating all documentation to a new platform to provide IPG individuals with central repository. In this role, the person will have the opportunity to learn about the key internal controls for a business as well, how they are structured, and why they are important and must be implemented within such large organization. Documentation, formal training, and coaching will be made available to the individual to grow their knowledge in the area of internal controls.

    Essential Functions

    • Helping move forward the gap analysis (internal controls self-assessment where weaknesses and gaps have been identified), following up resulting action plans,
    • Supporting as necessary to document policies and procedures and develop process maps,
    • Migrating policies and procedures to the common CertainTeed platform being developed,
    • Supporting various teams during Business Continuity Plan testing and results formalization,
    • Supporting BU controllers on one-off projects.

    • Strong digital skills, notably MS Office
    • Ability to work independently
