    We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the summer of 2022. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience, and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.

    As an international tax and transfer pricing Intern you will gain experience to include, but is not limited to activities and task listed below:

    • Data gathering and analysis to assist in the dividend and intercompany loans approval process, business restructurings, M&A deals, foreign income tax audits, and cross boarder transfer pricing matters
    • Project management assistance on international restructuring projects and M&A deals
    • Tax research, including synthesizing and summarizing potential tax law changes that could impact the company, as well as various international tax topics
    • Assist in updating and maintaining Carrier's legal entity organizational structure charts
    • Assistance with tracking and managing data for global income tax compliance purposes
    • Participate in discussions with stakeholders outside of the tax organization to better understand our businesses
    • Assist Carrier's Risk Management team with collecting and centralizing data as it relates to various foreign country transfer pricing documentation requirements
    • Assist Carrier's Risk Management team with our Digital strategy to automate our processes that lend themselves to automation
    • Perform valuation and modeling exercises
    • Assist in coordinating the execution of intercompany agreements

    EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

    • US Citizen or Permanent Resident
    • COVID-19 vaccines will be required for all newly hired Carrier U.S. Salaried employees
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Self-driven and proactive
    • Strong project management skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
    • Good interpersonal skills, including ability and desire to communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with others throughout Tax and Finance organizations
    • Ability to work with large amounts of data to deliver required outputs
    • Passion for learning including understanding processes and the Carrier businesses
    • Basic understanding of international tax and transfer pricing rules and concepts

    EDUCATION

    • Must be currently pursuing at minimum a Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Taxation.
    • Pursuit of an advanced degree program in Finance, Economics, Taxation or Law preferred
    • GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA
    • Relevant coursework pr prior internship/work experience at a Big 4 accounting or law firm a plus
