Opportunity
The Inventory/Warehouse Coordinator supports all supervisors and production with operational functions pertaining to inventory product maintenance, preservation, identification, movement and replenishment. In this role, you will work 1st Shift 8AM- 4:30PM, Mon-Fri.
► Key Areas of Responsibility
Timely, accurate and safe receiving, storing of material into the facility.
Uses ERP system to log and locate materials accurately.
Accurately inspects and stores/distributes all products in a timely fashion.
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Performs cycle counts and inputs
Analyzes inventory levels and creates requisitions to maintain equitable inventory quantities for active items.
Maintains reorder points for all inventories.
Serves as local vendor liaison for purchasing function.
Actively pursues disposition of obsolete and defective inventory.
Regularly audits and reports on data collections for all raw materials and supplies.
Serves as point of contact for recycling partners and operating owner of facility recycling program
Ensures ALL quality control standards are being maintained. Communicates any problems or quality issues due to shipping errors to the appropriate individuals.
Completes a daily forklift inspection checklist for any forklift used.
Complies with all company policies regarding forklift and warehouse safety.
Conducts BBSO, LOTO and Safety Audits.
Must be able to lift or move materials with weights up to 25 pounds.
Keeps all work areas safe, clean and in good condition.
Follows any other instructions given by supervisors and/or management to complete other tasks or projects, ensuring the objectives are accomplished accurately and within the timeframe allotted.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
Qualifications
► Key Qualifications
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years’ job related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have previous forklift experience/certification.
