The Service Technician Associate will be responsible for following ISC Standard Operating Procedures to accurately diagnose, repair and test customers gas detection equipment in a timely manner and with highest quality. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Diagnose and repair gas detection equipment in a timely manner and with highest quality * Assist with configuration for shipment of iNet® replacement & rental instruments * Maintain shop floor by assisting material handling with basic job duties * Communicate issues as necessary * Follow Service Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) * Look to continuously improve service center processes (Kaizen) * Maintain a clean and functional work area (Five-S) What we're looking for: * Electronics or equivalent experience * Basic computers and typing skills * Good communication skills * Basic soldering skills * Mechanical assembly skills * Very organized and able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously * Strong interpersonal skills Bonus Points: * Experience in repairing surface mount PCBs * Ability to use standard measuring tools and electronic diagnostic equipment * Ability to troubleshoot to a component level * Experience providing excellent customer service * IPC certification-class three soldering certification **Primary Location: **North America-United States-PA-Pittsburgh **Work Locations: ** **Job: **Manufacturing / Operations **Organization: **Jacobs Vehicle Systems, Inc.
