Required Skills Required Experience
The qualified applicant must meet the Secretary of the Interior’s Qualification Standards 36 CFR 61 as an Architectural Historian or Historian. Qualified applicants must have experience conducting background research and writing reports at a professional level, organizing and completing fieldwork, and managing cultural resource tasks or projects. Qualified applicant will have experience scoping new projects, tracking project delivery, coordinating with clients, and participating in public involvement. Demonstrated understanding of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) and Section 106 regulations is required. Demonstrated knowledge of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Section 4(f) of the National Transportation Act is preferred.
