Who will you be working with?
The Friction Product Line designs and manufactures high-friction and low-friction composition, sintered brake shoes, specialty shoes, and disc brake linings for freight, locomotive and transit vehicles.
How will you make a difference?
As a Junior Manufacturing Engineer , reporting to the Operations Support Manager, you will be responsible for helping to design and oversee installation and maintenance of the various electrical, mechanical, and control systems associated with new and existing facility equipment with a concentration on electrical and control systems.
What do we want to know about you?
Associate degree (Required).
A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an industrial environment
Demonstrated experience programming/troubleshooting of PLC's especially using Rockwell Automation
Working knowledge of AutoCAD software
In depth knowledge of electrical power wiring design principles
Knowledge of the application and use of AC VFDs and other common electrical equipment
Good technical writing skills
Technical maintenance skills
Ability to Present Issues / Opportunities to RFPC Staff
Good Communication and Interaction Skills

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary rate for this role is currently $62100-85300. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com.
