Position Summary

The Brewpub Support position supports the Servers, Expos and Bartenders in providing a dynamic and authentic Brewpub experience to guests by ensuring timely delivery of beer & food, providing silent service such as prebusing & refills and by following company-established procedures.

Essential Functions & Duties

Assists the FOH team with general service support.

Attends and actively participates in staff and “Be Prepared” meetings.

Follows coaching and direction given by the management team.

Consistently acts in a manner that fulfills the company’s purpose of making people happy one Karl Strauss beer at a time.

Exhibits a positive and professional demeanor by demonstrating optimism, warmth, and integrity to create a pleasant environment for guests and team members.

Maintains education by using the “own your shift” tools to ensure up to date knowledge on company communication, training modules, and local, state, and federal regulations.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

High School diploma or equivalent.

Current Food Handler’s Card (if applicable by County regulations).

Ability to work a minimum of three shifts per week.

Honest and reliable, punctual and enthusiastic.

Acquires a Level I Cicerone-Certified- Certified Beer Server within 60 days of hire.
