Job Summary The Cloud Development Intern will work directly with the IoT Cloud development team in collaboration with other Software Developers in an R&D environment. As a member of our engineering team you will tackle challenging issues of scale, reliability and security while delivering a delightful, simple user experience to a wide user base. Location / Duration Requirement * Local candidates only who are available to start within a few days of being hired and are within a reasonable commute distance to San Jose. * This internship is expected to be for a twelve (12) week period. * Pursuing BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or related field. * Must be a Senior or Graduate * Solid foundational Computer Science skills combined with a strong desire to learn and grow Job Responsibilities/Requirement * Work on a very small team to create new, awesome features for millions of users. * Write efficient, maintainable code for web frontend and backend. * Own release and QA cycles of your code. * Experience with Java, JavaScript programming and debugging skills. * Passionate about user experience. * Working experience with networking and messaging protocols is strongly preferred, but not required.
