Network Engineer We are looking for a network engineer who will be responsible for providing deploy and support network operation, software/hardware installation, problem resolution, and proactive network monitoring. This role will be responsible for the seamless operation of all network hardware, software, peripherals and infrastructure required to maintain optimized network communications. This will be comprised of work within the Information Technology department to manage and support the full network lifecycle that includes, but is not limited to: switches, routers, Palo Alto firewalls, access points, VPN, monitoring, and management tools. Required Skills & Experience -Able to install, configure, and maintain a Cisco wireless environment to include controllers, Access points, and ISE servers. -Able to configure user access, mobile access, guest access, and device authentication for a wireless environment. -Hands on and in-depth knowledge with networking devices such as switches, routers, firewalls and Wireless Controllers. -Ability to Deploy, configure, and support a large-scale production and corporate network. -Have demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations and utilize troubleshooting skills, systems, and tools, and have presented creative problem-solving abilities under pressure -Ability to create network and server rack face elevations, floor plans, wire diagram and details port maps for new deployments and documentation -The monitoring of LAN infrastructure activity and performance for identifying potential security, speed, and performance utilization, LAN, QOS, net flow, and SNMP -Can utilize available network troubleshooting tools, including network packet captures, monitoring devices, log files, and customer input to facilitate effective issue resolution -Can solve day to day network incidents/ tickets and offer seamless and satisfactory experience to users -Ability to work within a global team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with limited supervision -Ability to lift/move 40 to 50 lbs. -Capacity for travel is required Preferred Skills & Experience -Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent technical or professional experience related to the design, installation, and maintenance of local and wide area network required. -Minimum of 2 years of related work experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience installing and maintaining local and wide area networks required. -Understanding of routing protocols: eBGP, iBGP, OSPF, EIGRP and VRF -Must have 2 years of experience with Site Survey Tools (Air Magnet or Ekuhua) in multiple verticals -Must have 2 years of experience with RF and RF Design -Must have 2 years of experience with Palo Alto Firewall and Global Protect -Must understand and have 2 years of deployment experience with RADIUS infrastructure ISE -Must understand cloud services and efficient optimization on a global network -Understand or have knowledge of network design practices from small office to large campus -Must have comprehension of networking concepts including network design principles, data flow determination, routing, switching, VLANs, IP addressing, spanning-tree, etc. -Solid understanding of network utility services including TFTP, FTP, DNS, DHCP, NTP, SMTP, SYSLOG, etc. -Network Security Experience a plus NOTICE TO THIRD PARTY AGENCIES: Please note that KATERRA does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters or employment agencies.
