    Job Description

     Kelly Services is currently seeking a Benefit Customer Service Representatives!!  for one of our top clients in SANDA! This role will be with a Health care and pension provider in San Diego. These positions are a great way to get your foot in the door in a new field!!

     

    PAY: $16.25/HR AND $16.75 FOR FLUENT SPANISH SPEAKERS

    SCHEDULE: No Weekends!! 30-40 hr a week between the business hours of 6:00 am-6:00 pm

     

    SUMMARY:  As a Benefit Customer Service Representative you will have the rewarding opportunity to help our client members through the enrollment process and when making updates to their health care and/or pension plans.

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Skillfully translate health and welfare and pension terms, complex plan information, and processes into simple explanations and instructions that customers can understand and act upon.
    • Read and understand clients plan documents and online knowledgebase tools while collecting relevant information to determine immediate requests/questions and also to anticipate the future needs of the member
    • Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and compliance with company and client procedures and guidelines providing appropriate and accurate information
    • Maintain and document complete and accurate calls and case notes in a professional manner? Regularly participate in team meetings and training
    • You will spend the majority of your time assisting customers via phone, email and instant message
    • Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws and company data security requirements
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: Seasonal 32-40 hrs. a week; high performers can remain on assignment and assist with other clients and if the assignment is left in good terms you are able to return!!

    START DATE: 8/2020

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum of 2-3 years in fast-paced customer service role required
    • Ability to type a min of 30wpm
    • Must have excellent attendance and punctuality
    • Previous experience with computer applications, such as MS Outlook, Microsoft Programs or data entry software
    • 30WMP
    • Attention to detail and multitasking skills
    • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills, both written and over the phone
    • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
    • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information

     

    PREFERRED SKILLS:

    • Call center experience
    • Health and welfare or benefit pension knowledge
    • Associate or bachelor’s degree
    • Ability to read, write and speak Spanish (not mandatory)
