    Kelly Services is now hiring for an Sr. Recruiter for Charlotte, NC

     

    Hour: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (could work an 8-hour shift within the hours of 8am-8pm)

    Salary: 42-53K

    Temp to Hire

    Work remote until the office is opened back up at the end of the year

     

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The primary function of this role is to manage the full recruiting cycle: recruiting, screening of staff, interviewing, and recommending placement of staff by using temp-to-hire agency or other external sourcing methods.  Partner with key stakeholders on effective interviewing strategies. 

     

    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Identify and communicate concerns, problems, and challenges to leadership in a positive, constructive, and solution-oriented manner.
    2. Act as a role model by being pro-company and supportive of all employees and teams within the company.
    3. Perform other duties as assigned.

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

    1. Process job requisitions.
    2. Coordinate with hiring managers(s) to determine the most effective recruiting process to fill position(s).
    3. Act as a liaison with temp-to-hire agencies and online recruitment sites.  Develop and maintain a professional relationship to ensure on time achievement of staffing goals.
    4. Screen and interview applicants, conduct reference checks, coordinate appropriate employment testing, initiate background testing, as applicable.
    5. Extend verbal and written job offers to communicate compensation, benefits, etc.
    6. Manage internal transfers, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.

     

    MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE & KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

    1. Perform all duties specified.
    2. Complete goals set in regular evaluation and goal setting sessions.
    3. Accuracy and timeliness of essential job duties.
    4. Adherence to schedule.  Arriving on time and being prepared to work.
    5. Ability to follow company standards and instructions from management.
    6. Courteous and professional manner with internal and external customers.
    7. Complete special assignments on time and as instructed.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. High School graduate or equivalent required.
    2. College degree or equivalent work experience desired
    3. Two to three years recruiting experience.
    4. Knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
    5. Knowledge of company policies and procedures, coverage and service goals.
    6. Strong computer, internet and e-mail skills; extensive knowledge of and skill in using computer software, including Word, Excel, etc.
    7. Strong use of the internet to actively seek out and recruit talented candidates for the company.
    8. Strong organizational skills to manage duties through planning, detail orientation and prioritization.
    9. Strong communication skills, proper grammar, courteous and professional.
    10. Ability to maintain composure under stressful and/or possibly agitating working conditions.
    11. Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
