We’re seeking a HR ASSISTANT to work for an industry-leading commercial coffee equipment manufacturer. If you’re looking to put your love of coffee to work, keep reading. This is a remote position working for the industry leader in high-end automated coffee and espresso machines. This is a temp to hire opportunity, and the company is looking for employees eager to grow in the role and business. With us, it’s all about finding the job that’s just right. 

    LOCATION: Montebello, CA 90640

    SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm

    PAY: $20 p/h

    ​​DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ·         Have a patient, supportive, and customer centric mindset to assist with the day to day HR operations of the facility

    ·         Receives, sorts, and forwards incoming mail. Maintains and routes newspapers, publications, etc.

    ·         Assist HR and other departments with administrative work (filing, scanning, copying, faxing, and ordering of supplies)

    ·         Assist with employee events/activities, coordinating interview processes by scheduling candidates and panelists, as well as coordinating process for new hires.

    ·         Assists with coordination and logistics for SEB Professional workshops, visits, and events, including but not limited to securing conference rooms, coordinating hotels, transportation, and catering.

    ·         Answers telephone and directs calls accordingly

    ·         Assist employees with in-person inquiries as it concerns to human resources procedures and information

    ·         Assist with filing employee personnel records according to records retention strategies and guidelines.

    ·         Compiles and coordinates paperwork for benefits administration, including open enrollment, retirement plans, disability claims, etc.

    ·         Update TV Monitors, and communication boards and translate documents from English to Spanish.

    ·         Reply to EDD or any other correspondence with the assistance of the HR Generalist per their request.

    WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT:

    ·         1 year of prior administrative experience in a professional office environment.

    ·         Passion to help others, wants to grow in HR field

    ·         High school diploma or equivalent required, further education is a plus.

    ·         Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, mainly Excel

    ·         Must be bilingual read/speak/write in Spanish and English.

    ·         Good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).

    ·         Projects a customer centric attitude.

    ·         Understands the importance of protecting confidential information and employee data.

    ·         Prioritizes multiple project tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    ·         Ability to express oneself effectively, both orally and in writing.

    ·         Ability to maintain complex records in an organized manner.

    ·         High level of attention to detail while working within specified deadlines.

    ·         Prior experience creating weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports is desired
