    The Manufacturing Engineer performs various professional level duties, ranging from simple to moderate complexity within varied engineering and scientific activities associated with company products related to systems and component design, development, and test programs; including hardware and software applications.

     

    Manufacturing Engineering

    • Applies engineering and scientific principles to technical tasks in such technical fields as mechanics, electronics, flight technology, structures, chemistry, metallurgy, mathematics, and computer science.
    • May conduct or participate in portions of studies, investigations or analyses involving reliability, predictability, value engineering; or quality assurance problems including hardware and software projects.
    • Gathers, correlates, and analyzes technical information necessary to accomplish assigned tasks.
    • Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and other related documents.

    Required Skills

    • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, across functional areas
    • Quantitative analysis skills using Excel and other software tools
    • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
    • Drives for results to establish Root Cause & Positive Corrective Actions
    • Continuously strives to improve processes & techniques

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics/Mechatronics related field required

    • 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

    • 1-3 years’ experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment preferred

    • Manufacturing experience with a background in Electrical, Electronics or Electric Motors experience within the Aerospace industry is strongly preferred

    • Must be legally authorized to work in the US, visa sponsorship not available

    • Must be able to work on U.S. government programs and/or obtain security clearance
