    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Administer Document Control processes as a function of the Quality System and Internal Audit processes.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensure the quality system is being maintained in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
    • Assess the adequacy of the quality system.    
    • Identify any noncompliance and other inadequacies.
    • Verify correction of identified noncompliance.
    • Provide management with an assessment of the status and adequacy of the quality system.
    • Records shall be establish and maintained to provide evidence of conformity to requirements and the effective operation of the Quality Management System.
    • Documents (procedures and forms) required by the QMS shall be controlled.
    • Create and maintains all Work Instructions, Procedures, Quality Records, etc. per company standards.
    • Administer the Internal Audit and Document Control process for Quality Management System.
    • Participate in and satisfactorily completes all required training programs for the assigned position.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management representatives within the scope of responsibility and requirements of the job.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year prior experience and/or training in print quality management; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent communications skills and organization skills are required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software is also required. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. Loud noise (ear protection recommended).

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing/Walking for long periods of time. Repetitive use of hands, arms or wrists. Lift up to 25lbs.

  • Qualifications

    TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: 

    1. Bachelor of Pharmacy degree required; Masters or Doctors of Pharmacy degree preferred.
    2. Two years of previous pharmacy experience preferred.
    3. Managed Care experience preferred.
    4. Computer proficiency in spreadsheet, data base, and word processing programs, such as MS Office and an ability to learn new programs quickly.
    5. Strong analytical, organizational, oral and written communication skills required.
    6. Licensed pharmacist in CT

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Primarily sedentary.
    2. Must be able to use standard office equipment.
