    Job Description

    An excellent company in Cypress is looking for a Customer Service Representative who works well in a fast paced environment. The Customer Service Clerk is a temp to hire position. The Customer Service Clerk will be responsible for entering sales orders and taking orders from customers. Must have excellent communication skills and data entry skills and good technical skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computer skills.

    SUMMARY

    The Customer Service Representative is responsible for dealer relations and order fulfillment.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

    1. Order Entry

      1. Receive and process telephone, email and fax orders
      2. Check stock, locate inventory, verify credit approval, invoice dealer warehouse orders
      3. Process container and consignment orders
      4. Monitor and process back orders
      5. Process inventory returns
      6. Provide order status information for dealer and Toyo Sales personnel inquiries
      7. Track and trace shipments
      8. Monitor and advise dealers of container order status, special promotions, discontinued inventory and sales program deadlines
      9. Process billing corrections
    2. Sales Support

      1. Respond to dealer inquiries and resolve dealer complaints to the extent authorized within the customer service department
      2. Pricing code entry in computer and code maintenance for all dealers in assigned areas
      3. Regular communication with appropriate Regional Sales Managers to report daily order receipts, shipping schedules, dealer inquiries or complaints and problem solving
    3. General Administrative

      1. Inventory production recommendations and warehouse transfer requests
      2. Process Federal Excise Tax and city, county and state commission credits and other credit memos
      3. Maintain dealer order files and current pricing files
      4. Answer questions and provide additional information and sales history reports to dealers and Toyo management as required
    4. Other duties as assigned

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    5. Intermediate proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
    6. Overtime as required for business needs
    7. Ability to follow Company policies and safety guidelines
    8. MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED

     

    HOURS: 8am to 5pm

    PAY: $18.00 to $19.00

    STATUS: Temporary with the possibility temp to hire

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in customer service or call center operation.
