RLI Transportation’s Group is looking for underwriting interns for our Atlanta, GA office. These internships are targeted to start in late May/early June and continue through early August. The hours will be full-time (37.5 hours per week) during the summer. The interns will provide support to the underwriting functions of our Trucking, Commercial Specialty Auto and Public Auto product lines.

• Open, review and analyze new submissions
• Determine fit under RLI’s underwriting criteria
• Assist in underwriting and rating accounts

Required Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Currently enrolled full time at College/University
• Insurance knowledge is preferred
• Task-oriented

Required Experience

• Sophomore, Junior or Senior student of any major, although a preference towards Risk Management & Insurance majors.
• Minimum 3.0/4.0 cumulative GPA preferred.
