Data Scientist 3 Date:Mar 22, 2018 Location:Fremont, CA, US, 94538 -Opportunity: -We are seeking a candidate with a background in semiconductor engineering or related domain experience who can implement computer vision / deep learning techniques on a variety of images and advanced process flow. -We're seeking someone who is driven and has a passion to learn, as the scope of the work may change over time to encompass datasets across different business and technology sectors. Responsibilities - Working with multi-dimensional datasets from various sensors to develop generative and discriminative models. - Deploying deep learning methods with traditional computer vision to build robust image detection and feature recognition models. - Write robust and maintainable code that is well documentation with version control in Python/R. - Identify core requirements for image classification. - Help with creating and deploying apps while providing UX feedback. - Listen, identify, work with, and supply models to process engineers for increase speed to solutions. - Develop DB pipelines for image storage and data retrievability. Requirements: - Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or related field. - At least one year of experience within the semiconductor or related field. - At least one year of experience with applied computer vision and machine learning algorithms. - Solid mathematics background (linear algebra, probability, optimization). - Knowledge in deep learning architectures for computer vision, and associated libraries & frameworks (Tensorflow, OpenCV, Skimage, etc.). - Experience with solr, mongoDB, and SQL . - Experience with and implementing CNNs, feature detection, and classification.
