Position Purpose: Working closely with the College Relations Team and Talent Acquisition Management, the College Relations Intern will get a broad exposure to corporate Human Resources. Land OLakes Talent Acquisition is a centralized recruiting team consisting of nearly 40 members that is in charge of sourcing and hiring employees, new grads and interns for Land OLakes and our cooperative members. The College Relations team is a team of 12 professionals dedicated to the sourcing and hiring of interns and new grads to fill the talent pipeline for corporate Land OLakes and member cooperatives. The team plans and executes more than 300 events per year on 26+ campuses across the US. During the summer months, the team works with each respective department to put on orientations/trainings, summer activities and final wrap up events. The College Relations intern will join the team for a 12 week experience starting in May 2018 and projects may focus on the following: Testing and rollout project work for Workday Applicant Tracking system; refresh of annual intern and new grad salary benchmarking; evaluate ROI of key campus clubs; performance of key schools; create survey to gain insights into recruiting process and competitive markets; partner with College Relations Events Specialist to plan and execute summer intern activities & events; Gain exposure to other HR functions within Land OLakes including: Benefits, Learning & Development, Full cycle experienced recruiting, Payroll & HRTS teams Other College Relations projects as assigned Required (Basic) Experience and Qualifications: An undergrad student currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other HR related discipline degree Exceptional interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication Must be a self-driven, creative, self-starter with the passion to go above and beyond Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and apply a high degree of confidentiality Tech Savvy, Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills are required Preferred Experience and Qualifications: Experience with SharePoint, Workday and Applicant Tracking System (Taleo) experience is a plus Prior HR/Talent Acquisition internship or work experience strongly desired College recruiting experienced preferred EOE M/F/Vets/Disabled.
