    SCOPE OF THE ROLE

     

    The Business Analyst leads and/or participates in the activities of supporting and implementing SAP and related application solutions and functionality which effectively support all LEAR Divisions in Europe.  

     

    The SAP MM Business Analyst is responsible for all technical and configuration aspects of the material management solution including the full Procurement to Pay (PTP). The role entails knowledge and experience in the full SAP project life cycle methodology, including blueprinting and GAP analysis, configuration, documentation, interface integration, testing, training, deployment, and stabilization & hyper-care support. This role is a senior cross-functional business analyst position that supports a full range of end to end business processes.

     

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

     

    • 5+ years’ experience with SAP MM in a project environment (3-5 full project cycles). Advanced knowledge of Inventory Management and Procurement Processes and Data elements. Base knowledge in WM Strategies and configuration.
    • Base knowledge of JIT Scheduling Agreements and EDI processes.
    • Experience with a decentralized warehouse environment.
    • Automotive industry experience.
    • Extensive knowledge of the SAP Logistic Mobile solution.
    • Ability to support and identify process improvements for the areas of Inventory Management and Purchasing.
    • Experience with Purchasing Scheduling Agreements and Physical Inventory processes in SAP
    • Ability to develop functional specifications across functions.
    • Knowledge of the integration points with other Key modules WM/ SD / PP / QM / FI
    • Knowledge of SAP workbench, LSMW and IDOC-processing.
    • Bachelors or other degree in Business Administration or Computer Science (or equivalent education) and/or a minimum of 3 years working in a Materials Management role

     

    DESIRED SKILLS:

     

    • Experience with Extended Warehouse Management.

     

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

     

    • Support the SAP template solution being developed and implemented in Europe.

    • Participate in the planning and implementation of new and modified solutions to support the MM functional end to end processes.

    • Provide Level 2 and 3 support for MM related business processes and applicable IT solutions

    • Collaborate with the BPO group to document the relevant business processes.

    • Protect and ensure the integrity of the LEAR business processes within the SAP template solution.

    • Manage own work within the project team and ensure consistency and communication

    • Oversee and support the functional MM deployment team.

    • Participate in the analysis and design of the SAP rollout solutions as it relates to MM functional areas.

    • Coordinate activities with other SAP team members

    • Travel will be expected when required to produce a successful SAP launch. (Estimated -40 Percent).
