    Must be able to assist with fabricating, assembling and trouble-shooting high-speed production equipment or making modifications.

    1. Insures orderly flow of work through shop and maintain shop cleanliness.
    2. Experience operating lathe, milling machine, electric welder, gas welder, grinders, cutting torches and other machine shop equipment.
    3. Must be able to read and follow mechanical blueprints.
    4. Required to assist with repair and/or making of parts in the machine shop.
    5. Have some knowledge of drafting, blueprint reading, and measuring instruments.
    6. Familiar with electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair.
    7. Familiar with paper converting equipment and cardboard packaging equipment.
    8. Perform other tasks and related job functions as required.
    9. PLC Experience

       Marginal Duties:

    1.  Assist with Process troubleshooting.
    2. Assists with mechanical repairs and troubleshooting on a limited basis.
    3. Performs any other task for the smooth operation of the department.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    • High School Diploma or equivalent  • An AA degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance preferred • Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience • 2+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC • Ability to utilize hand and power tools, electric meters and powered industrial equipment in performing duties • Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance  • Vacuum furnace experience preferred • Good computer skills
    • Ability to lift machinery or machine members by hand (up to 50 lbs.) or by mechanical assistance
    • Ability to work and climb from ladders and work from elevated platforms • Work within non-climate-controlled work areas • PPE required, to include, hand, face and eye protection
