The Regional Materials Manager is responsible for optimizing and standardizing materials procedures and functions related to his region assigned in the production programming based on customer's requirements, ordering of raw materials and the management of the flow of material, both the raw and the finished product.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Establishes, guides and directs plant Materials teams across multiple manufacturing plants to effective results.
- Responsible for the Materials performance for all plants in region including: Supplier Scheduling, Operations Production Planning, Receiving, Supermarket Storage, Internal Delivery Routes, Shipping, Logistics Excess and Obsolete Management, Annual Physical Inventory, Daily Cycle Counts, and Inventory Management (DOH)
- Provide necessary resources to be compliance with our safety policy and assure the establishment, implementation and maintenance of safety and review its performance.
- Provide technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Identify and resolves complex technical, operational and organizational problems
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or business preferred
- 5+ years’ experience as a Materials or PC&L Manager role in a manufacturing or automotive company.
- Multi-site experience.
- GM, FCA, Ford, BMW, Audi and VW as customers.
