The PRODUCTION PLANT IN OSTROV U STŘÍBRA has been operating SINCE 2008 and is one of the key production units within the European Lear network. In Ostrov u Stříbra we produce HIGH-QUALITY SEATING SYSTEMS for key customers of the AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY. More than 800 EMPLOYEES work together on attractive seat models for the AUDI C8, BMW 3 Series and 4 or PORSCHE G2 Panamera.

MAIN MISSION: Responsibility for analyzing and optimizing production processes for the assembly lines of the designated projects. In addition, take responsibility for implementing of improvements.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR TASK?

• Identify and quantify improvements opportunities proactively together with site Operations teams and use best tools/methods from the CI toolbox to develop solutions.
• Leverage internal and external Lean network to capture and eventually deploy best practices within the organization.
• Participation in evaluating improvement ideas from employees and managing of implementation.
• Proactively identify and quantify improvement opportunities; develop action plans accordingly.
• Educate Operations teams on Lean principles to close capability gaps and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

YOUR PROFESSIONAL PROFILE INCLUDES:

• Knowledge of Lean principles or professional education in this field.
• Focus on innovative solutions even for complex problems.
• Communicative level of English and Czech - mandatory.
• Very good communication and organizational skills.
• At least 2 years in continuous improvement in manufacturing environment.
• Training experience with operators, shift leaders and departmental managers.
• Proficient in basic MS Office tools, nice to have Auto Cad/SketchUp with ability to learn/master new applications.
