    Required Skills

    Position requires:

    • Moderate IBM iSeries (AS/400) operations and program experience.
    • Understanding of program architecture (IBM RPG IV and CL).
    • Travel – Past history suggests around 30% on average. Actual amount of travel may be higher or lower for a given period. Travel is normally limited to North America, but may include other destinations. Length of a trip varies from one day to multiple weeks, but the average trip will be 4-5 days.
    • On-call – Many of the locations we support are in operation at least two shifts, some run 24 hours a day. A company-paid cell phone and laptop computer are provided for this purpose. All project leaders are expected to respond to support calls from these sites when possible.
    • Manufacturing experience with ERP/MRP, preferably automotive.
    • Ability to organize software, hardware, human, and financial resources in order to achieve project goals.
    • Prior familiarity with LearPICS is a plus.

     

    Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Install, configure, and customize LearPICS modules to unique situations.
    • Interact with plant IT and end users throughout all phases of project.
    • Train IT and non-IT users.
    • Coordinate activities of other IT staff, inside and outside of our department.

    Required Experience

    Requires 6 + years experience.

  • Qualifications
