Due to the increase in business we are looking to complement our teams based across the country. We are currently recruiting for an Industrial Engineer to work at our new site in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for  project/engineering change within the timeline, budget and to exceed the customers expectations by ensuring that the plant remains an innovative seating supplier to its customers.

     

    TRIM DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER (MULTIPLE VACANCIES)

Due to the increase in business we are looking to complement our teams based across the country. We are currently recruiting for a Trim Engineer to support the business based at our assembly plant in Coventry.

     

    THE ROLE

     

    As a Trim Engineer you will be responsible for produce prototype production level cover patterns and prototype seat development to support styling reviews. Support pre-production and production launches of trim covers, ensuring timely closure of engineering design related concerns.

    You will control and implement trim development work order system and monitor and liaise with trim technicians verse trim development of trim changes pre and post job 1. The Trim Engineer will ensure plant and supplier feasibility for trim design to customer and internal standards and Customers liaise with program teams & report technical trim changes.

    You will have responsibility and the own program PLM, RFQ, ECN, & DCR as well as the Trim BOM. Training of production staff on key issues, own relevant trim DFMEA’s, trim drawing release review and undertake tasks from internal& external meetings.

    YOUR PROFILE

     

    The successful candidate will hold a degree level qualification in manufacturing engineering / materials / product development. You will have worked in a similar environment and can demonstrate knowledge and expertise in manufacturing engineering procedures and standards, and will have experience of facility & tooling requirements, process documentation, work station layout planning. Experience working with MS Word and Excel is a must you will need experience in production patterning and capability able to produce foams from CAD sections.
