    About the Role

    The Learning & Development Manager plays a key leadership role in driving the vision, growth, and success of Eagle Fire Academy (EFA)—our internal training and development program. This position oversees training strategy, curriculum design, program delivery, and certification pathways to ensure Eagle Fire continues to set the industry standard in technical and professional excellence.

    You’ll partner closely with leaders across the company to identify learning needs, implement programs, and build the tools and systems that empower our teams to grow.

    What You’ll Do

    • Lead Eagle Fire Academy (EFA): Champion EFA’s vision and mission to align with company goals, compliance standards, and workforce development needs.
    • Develop and Oversee Training Programs: Evaluate training gaps, design learning paths, manage budgets, and lead the EFA team.
    • Collaborate with Vendors & Experts: Partner with external vendors and internal subject matter experts to design and deliver technical and soft-skill training programs.
    • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS): Oversee content development, course delivery, and reporting for both in-person and eLearning environments.
    • Support Licensing & Certifications: Use data-driven insights to identify certification and licensing needs across trades and regions, helping to keep Eagle Fire’s workforce highly credentialed.
    • Drive Continuous Improvement: Evaluate program effectiveness and adjust content or delivery to improve outcomes.

    What You Bring

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Education, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in learning & development or organizational development.
    • Proficiency with LMS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite (especially SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI), and eLearning tools.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.

    Preferred:

    • Experience working in or supporting skilled trades industries.
    • Familiarity with certification programs such as NICET, BICSI, AFSA, or NTC.
    • Understanding of manufacturer or AHJ-specific certification requirements (e.g., Edwards, Honeywell, Kidde, Lenel, Telecor).
