    Following new program award for some of Europe’s premium OEM’s an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Program Manager to join our team in Pozzo D’Adda, Italy. Reporting directly to the Customer Platform Manager and located in a JIT manufacturing Plant you will be entrusted to ensure these programs are launched on time, within budget and to the customers quality standards. As a Program Manager within Lear you will be responsible for driving the launch of these programs through collaborative leadership with an International cross functional team from Operations, Quality, Sales and Purchasing departments.

     

    ADDITIONAL DUTIES WILL INCLUDE (BUT MAY NOT BE LIMITED TO)

    • Working directly with the customers and internal cross functional teams to manage program change requests 
    • Proactively working to identify program risks providing counter measures and recommendations to prevent delays 
    • Supporting Lear Commercial Teams on customer RFQ’s and presentations 
    • Assuring program budget requirements and financial returns meet or exceed Lear financial commitments 
    • Drive accountability to the APQP process to assure program launch with quality 
    • Building lasting business relationships with the OEM customers

    Required Skills

    • Excellent organizational skills – a proven record in being able to plan and track project activities 
    • Working knowledge of program and operational finance 
    • Strong communication skills with a fluency in Italian and English both written and verbal

    Required Experience

    • Automotive Customer experience preferably having working to deliver interior parts or modules 
    • Proven record of managing within cross functional teams and matrix style organizations 
    • Degree or equivalent in an engineering or technical related subject would be advantageous

     

  • Qualifications

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication, and listening skills.
    • Basic reading and comprehension skills. 
    • Basic numerical reasoning skills. 
    • Ability to complete paperwork in an accurate, neat and efficient manner. Physical Demands:
    • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull and lift cartons weighing 100+ lbs. repetitively.
