Education : Bachelors Degree Description : Tracking Code 379-252 Job Description Lexicon is searching for an entrepreneurial, highly motivated Marketing Analytics Intern. This will be a 12-week assignment, beginning in June 2018 through August 2018. This is a temporary role within Lexicon, benefits and housing are not provided. This position will be based in our Basking Ridge, NJ location. The specific internship project deliverables include: * Analyzing our commercial team on the levels of promotional effectiveness across various channels including: physicians (both in person and non-personal promotion), the patients, the nurses, as well as other ancillary activities * Utilizing this analysis to recommend an optimal promotional resource allocation based on our commercial product, Xermelo s, first year in the market. * Mapping the Xermelo promotional mix through information gathering with the marketing and sales team * Gathering and cleaning various data sources into a comprehensive analytical dataset * Building and validating the promotional mix * Presenting final findings to internal stakeholders Required Skills Qualifications: * Currently in an advanced degree program for Economics, Mathematics or Statistics, MBA program preferred * Experience working on data intensive projects such as segmentation, promotional modeling, risk modeling, or predictive analytics * Exposure to the pharmaceutical industry marketing data is preferred * Understanding of pharmaceutical sales and marketing is preferred * Strong organizational skills; ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities * Demonstrated academic strength and leadership skills * Integrity and commitment to high ethical standards * Interpersonal, presentation, oral, and written communication skills To apply, please visit the careers section of our website: https://lexpharmacareers.silkroad.com/.
