    As an ASSISTANT MACHINE OPERATOR, you will join a team of dedicated production and machine operators from diverse backgrounds who are committed to safety & quality and take great pride in our company.     We currently have positions open on 2nd shift (2pm-10pm), Monday – Friday with the flexibility of overtime.

    Required Skills

    IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

    • Assist with basic machinery & equipment setup and operation including loading materials, handling finished product and assembling fabricated parts or finished products.
    • Ensure product quality by conducting visual and tool measurement inspections, monitoring and adjusting output settings, and conducting basic quality control and quality assurance tests.
    • Generate and maintain operational and quality records avd reports.
    • Drive quality standards and operational efficiencies, offering recommendations for improvements, as you contribute directly to our plant operations.
    • Maintain clean and organized work area.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship.
    • 1 to 2 years of machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment with a good attendance track record.
    • You possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, etc.)
    • Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
    • Ability to follow demonstrated or written work instructions such as machine-related operations, capabilities, light maintenance and safety requirements.
    • Ability to withstand continuous standing; occasional pushing, pulling, bending and/or stooping; and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.

     

    INDIVIDUALS STARTING A CAREER WITH LIBERTY PACKAGING RECEIVE:

    • STARTING PAY OF UP TO $16/HOUR BASED UPON EXPERIENCE
    • A $1,000 NEW TEAM MEMBER BONUS – (paid in $500 installments after 90 days and 1 year of continuous employment)
    • PTO (paid time off) accruing at a rate of 3 WEEKS PER YEAR
    • Health, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insurance AFTER 30 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT
    • Pay progression through annual performance reviews
    • 401K and Profit sharing
    • Tuition reimbursement
