    Engineer - Pilot Plant Job Function: Operations Position type: Permanent Employment type: Full - Time Location: New Jersey - Clark Country/Region: USA The CIQ Pilot Plant Associate performs assigned tasks which involve responsibility for planning, coordinating, operating and the evaluation of Pilot Group equipment and material handling operations. Maintains equipment, facility and supplies in support of Corporate Industrial Quality. Job Tasks: · Manage and implement LOréal policies and practices including, but not limited to, environmental, safety and health procedures · Setup equipment and instruments to produce smooth batching and analysis · Order materials and supplies for the pilot plant and lab operations; maintain inventory log to secure lowest price from vendors · Train, direct and supervise material handlers as required · Maintain involvement on all new equipment buying and installation · Arrange the installation and proper wiring for any new equipment · Maintain responsibility for the receipt of new materials through the pilot warehouse · Manage the receiving and storage of raw materials in the warehouse · Operate a forklift to facilitate the movement of materials · Manage the destruction and removal of excess raw materials and bulk per cGMP, DEP and LOréal guidelines, organizing and scheduling the destruction of any hazardous or non-hazardous materials, as well as palletizing and recording bulk that is both received and destroyed · Manage, update and execute calibration process for CIQ Pilot equipment · Design of systems and drawing prefabrication diagrams · Manage and schedule all maintenance work performed on CIQ process equipment · Manage, track and code finances for the CIQ Pilot. Pays invoices, records payments for all purchases, including Capital Projects · Act as Safety Committee member for CIQ · Adhere to LOréals CIQ procedures in area of responsibility · Perform other duties as instructed by manager and the demands of the business Required Education and Experience: · BS in related Engineer field · 2+ years experience in process equipment repair or maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; will consider recent graduates with relevant internship experience We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and take pride in a diverse environment.
