    POSITION SUMMARY

    This position is responsible for the accurate processing of customer transactions, responding to customer inquiries and requests, receiving goods, managing inventory, final assembly of products, and delivery of products.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Making deliveries to customer locations and managing shipment of goods.
    • Communicate professionally & effectively with customers when delivering both good and bad information. This would include both verbal and written communications.
    • Receiving goods and inventory control of goods.
    • Reads work instructions, work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
    • Assembles different parts of manufactured products using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.
    • Inspects all materials, components, subassemblies, etc. to assure they meet the accepted quality standards.
    • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns, credits, debits and non-conformances.
    • Provide accurate and timely information regarding availability of in-stock items.
    • Obtain accurate information relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery.
    • Answer inquiries from customers providing basic technical product and applications support.
    • Present price, credit and terms in accordance with standard procedures.

     

    Required Skills

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

    • Clean MVR
    • Able to lift up to 40lbs
    • Proficiency in MS Office; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Proficient in sales and ERP software system. 
    • Adherence to export control regulations.
    • Mechanical aptitude.
    • High accuracy in data entry.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and various levels of management.
    • Excellent time management and prioritization skills with a high level of persistency in meeting delivery schedules.
    • Basic analytical and problem solving skills.

    Required Experience

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • 2 - 3 years sales/customer service experience.
    • Assembly experience a plus for small oil and gas products. 
    • Forklift and warehousing experience, a plus.
