    Job Description

    Who will you be working with?

    To support North America MSA accounts with critical material allocation, atypical vendor reconditioned part planning & fulfillment coordination and the readiness-to-serve for business sponsored new product introductions.

    How will you make a difference?

    Strategic Critical Material Allocation Management:

    • Orchestrate daily critical material distribution
    • Streamline supply chain efforts to optimize material delivery
    • Partner with account teams and P&Ls to establish an allocation plan

    What do we want to know about you?

    • Experience with purchasing and procurement processes.
    • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
    • Experience with engineering processes.
    • Experience with program management and project scheduling.
    • Experience with asset management.
    • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to solve complex problems
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Manage time effectively and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
    • Accustomed to working under pressure, dealing with conflicting demands.
    • A willingness to undertake the varying day-to-day responsibilities of this position and keen to adopt new challenges.
    • Desire to succeed.
    • Ability to travel up to 10% as needed

    Desired Characteristics

    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
    • Six Sigma Green Belt or Project Management
    • Prior experience in MSA material processes or degree in Supply Chain Management
    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
    • Strong database management skills such as writing SQL code
    • Ability to perform data analysis using Wabtec BI tools such as MS Access
    • Ability to work in a matrix environment, coordinating across multiple functions/sites
    • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization

    What will your typical day look like?

    Drive initiatives to support vendor-supplied reconditioned materials:

    • Oversee remediation strategies to resolve inventory and demand imbalances.
    • Integrate and align forecasts to optimize vendor capacity and component replacement planning.
    • Lead end-to-end component replacement processes to support equipment pool optimization.

    Orchestrate material readiness for business sponsored new product introduction.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • To comply with Wabtec Corporate & local Environment, Health & Safety requirements always.
    • Professionally represent Wabtec during all customer and supplier interactions.
    • Document retention consistent with Wabtec Corporate policy.
    • Actively contribute to all continuous process improvement efforts within the Customer Service COE.

    You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary. The role is available for a remote or hybrid schedule.

The salary rate for this role is currently $68900-98200 The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
