Comply with all federal regulations related to the safe guarding of controlled substances.nbsp; In the absence of the Plant Security Manager, this position becomes the point of contact for plant security issues and may provide direction to Security Officers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Prevent diversion as stated in Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations and enforce/adhere to all compliance security and safety polices. * Receptionist for all of the St. Louis Plant Site which includes but is not limited to; * Answer telephones, file, copy, fax documents, and typing.nbsp; * Receive visitors (i.e., Contractors, venders, DEA, FDA, EPA, St. Louis City Inspectors) * Arrange customer visits and provide safety and security protocols. * Maintain/manage background checks and clearance level lists. * nbsp;Handling requests, receiving/shipping envelopes and small deliveries via courier * Arranging taxi-cabs for out of town visitors and fielding a variety of telephone calls . * Arrange group tours or special projects on request. * Maintain door list and entry records for buildings. * Maintain daily Site contractor, visitor and temporary badge sign in sheets.nbsp; * Provide DEA Compliance with their list requests. * Security Officer support; including but not limited to; * Coordinate Security Officer and security monitor scheduling to ensure Site coverage. * Review Security Officers Kronos payroll entries. * Post overtime request sheets for the Security Officers. * Record vacation requests for the Security Officers. * Coordinate Security Officer training letters for the St. Louis County Police Academy. * Coordinate Security Officer uniform and equipment purchasing requests. * Arrange Security Officer payment for firearms and mandatory training. * Controlled substance coordination; manage security escort requests for controlled substance buildings.nbsp; Arranging and escorting transfers of controlled substances and controlled substance trash between buildings. Coordinate special products badge issuance. * Alarm systems coordination including; ensuring payment of security system maintenance requests and coordinating security alarm and security camera system repairs. Primary contact for alarms during shutdown periods. Conduct monthly alarm tests. Maintain alarm system daily and report problems. * Control and make keys for all locks on the plant, change combination locks as needed. * Rotate from building to building to assist the other monitors.nbsp; * Assist manufacturing and building coordinators and facilitators as needed.nbsp; * Ensure active participation in the sites safety program. Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to good housekeeping practices.nbsp; * Coordinate security meetings, anniversary recognitions, etc. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: * High School Graduate or equivalent, AA degree preferred Experience: * Three (3) to (5) years of related administrative experience preferred. Six (6) to Eight (8) years in security operations preferred. * Previous supervisory experience a plus Preferred Skills/Qualifications: * Detailed Oriented, Organizational Skills, Works well with others * Maintain a high level of confidentiality/work ethic Skills/Competencies: * Good Communication and inter-personal skills, telephone etiquette. * Computer Literacy, Proficient in Microsoft Suites (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook) * Proficient in basic mathematics * Excellent record keeping and organizational skills Other Skills: * Ability to adapt to change and to set priorities and work independently.nbsp; * Good Teamwork skills.
