    The Position

    The Corporate Finance group supports an increasingly dynamic Fortune 500 company. We are seeking a Manager of Financial Accounting who is looking to further develop his or her career in a growing global company. This role has significant interaction with both the Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller. The primary responsibilities include assisting in the management of global consolidation, collaborating on the external reporting process, month end close review and analysis, and technical accounting support for special transactions such as acquisitions, divestitures, integration, transformation, and process improvements. Collaboration with domestic and international business unit and functional leaders offers extensive learning opportunities and exposure across our many global businesses that can serve as a foundation for future career opportunities. The position offers opportunities to utilize the candidate’s existing experience in driving operational process and control improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of financial information.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Lead preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements, delivering accurate and timely reporting across a global organization
    • Act as a key resource in the consolidation process involving over 200 entities within a complex, multinational environment
    • Oversee and manage monthly close process for the corporate business segment, ensuring accurate accounting and compliance with US GAAP
    • Assist in the administration of the global consolidation tool (OneStream), managing day-to-day operations and driving long-term enhancements
    • Contribute to the preparation and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings to ensure compliance with US GAAP and reporting requirements
    • Support business unit and functional leaders in acquisitions and other special transactions
    • Assist with financial integration of acquisitions
    • Be a leader on the controllership team and mentor teammates to support their growth and development in the organization
    • Maintain compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements, ensuring appropriate procedures and internal controls are in place
    • Collaborate with various functions and locations across the organization to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging automation and AI and drive consistent application of policies
    • Perform analytical review of total company and business unit results
    • Lead periodic reviews over critical accounting estimates and certain corporate account reconciliations
    • Support and coordinate external auditor requests
    • Other duties and special projects as required

    Required Management/Technical Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
    • 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with public multinational manufacturing organizations and/or public accounting firms
      • Working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
    • Ability to communicate effectively across functions and with executives
    • Willingness to travel and work extended hours as required

    Preferred qualifications

    • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA)
    • CPA or equivalent professional certification
    • Experience with M&A transactions and purchase accounting

The salary rate for this role is currently $91100-129800 The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
