    What’s the job?

    To ensure the consistent production of high-quality drywall products by monitoring quality systems, analyzing performance data, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

    This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with product specifications, conducting audits and tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and drive process improvements across the plant.

    • Participate in plant improvement initiatives

    • Perform and follow up on critical quality checks (with GL)

    • Process trials, product testing, and result reporting

    • Raw material testing/trials for COA specs

    • Accurate documentation of test results

    • Train and coach Quality Techs on procedures/specs (with GL support)

    This position requires a four-year college degree in Engineering or Data Analytics, other related field and experience.

    Requires two plus years of experience in Engineering or Data Analytics role in manufacturing environment.

    • Working knowledge of advanced data analytics software.

    • Strong computer skills

    • Ability to organize and create work schedules; solve problems; provide leadership and work well with others at all organizational levels.

    • Demonstrated experience leading performance improvement projects in gypsum or a related industry.

    • Good written and oral communication skills.

    • Self-motivated individual who is also venturesome.
