    We are looking for college students to join GE Appliances, a Haier company (GEA). Our GE Appliances ecommerce co-op position provides assistance with executing marketing campaigns, managing client relationships and developing/communicating consumer newsletters. In addition, the co-op will collect, maintain and report campaign and contact data.

    HOW YOU'LL CREATE POSSIBILITIES

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage consumer e-newsletters for the GE Appliances Store including gathering content, obtaining legal approval, testing, executing delivery to consumers, and post-send analytics.

    • Maintain databases and spreadsheets for weekly orders and traffic.

    • Project work as needed, including testing of new processes, price benchmarking and competitive analysis.

    • Drive growth in the External Partner channel by establishing and maintaining contacts with accounts, providing updated marketing materials for communicating the program and sending periodic e-newsletters to business contacts.

    • Drive special projects as needed.

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO OUR TEAM

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

    • Candidates must be enrolled in college pursuing a Business or Marketing degree and have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.

    • Must be able to work up to 20 hours per week during school semesters and full-time in the summer; during the following business hours: Mon - Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

    • Must have at least 12 months of education remaining before graduation.

    PREFERRED:

    • Possess the ability to quickly develop functional knowledge of processes.

    • Have excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral communication skills.

    • Possess strong internet and computer skills as well as proficient use of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

    • Detail-oriented and have a strong level of accountability.

    • Be self-guided; able to work logically through daily issues.

    • Possess a strong work ethic; able to meet deadlines.

    • Be reliable; able to maintain high attendance standards.

    • Candidate should be located in Louisville, Ky.
