Analyses deviations and proposes corrections. * Shapes the current year CAB budget and prepares recommendations for trade-offs (project prioritization or acceleration, revised scope) for the senior regional stakeholders. * Manages the 3-5 year CAB list and ensures proposed spend is in line with business objectives and that project delivery (requested funds, timings, resources, etchellip;) is achievable. * Supports the preparation of the quarterly amp; annual CAB booklets. Ensures timely completion of Post-Completion Reports. * Creates and drives the delivery of periodic CAB presentations for Global/Regional leadership. Runs regional capital project approval process * Runs periodic project pre-approval reviews in collaboration with Engineering, Finance, Quality, PPI, and Commercial to ensure only quality projects, with clear scope and robust business models, are submitted for regional approval. * Updates and manages templates for Capital Projects and Post-Completion Reports. * Provides specific training to local and regional IEs / Engineers on project writing and specific KPIs. * Administers CABWeb, Smartsheets on behalf of the region. Masterplan * Supports the region in the Masterplan process with the Central IE Manager. Managing the Masterplan schedule for the region and ensuring the timely completion and execution with gaining Global and Regional support to execute the process step. Ad hoc project support * Supports the Central IE Manager on additional ad hoc projects which drive the Regional responsibilities and improvements in business processes. Scope The job holder works with a broad range of interfaces within Supply to effectively forecast and manage the regions CAB performance and to ensure only well defined, high quality CAB requests are submitted to the business. The job holder will need to have a good understanding of all technologies within MWC and strong business acumen to validate project proposals against business objectives. The Main interfaces are with the regional Supply Leadership team, Samp;F, Plant Directors, the global IE amp; Engineering team, Segment and Site IEs. nbsp; This role requires a good understanding of budgeting and forecasting, as well as a good understanding of Engineering project management at Mars. Expertise in the area of Industrial Engineering and/or Finance is a pre-requisite. nbsp; This role requires excellent communication (verbal and written), influencing skills, comfort around higher management (both regionally and globally), and broad business knowledge due to the complex and varied nature of the tasks. nbsp; Requirements Education amp; Professional * University Degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Business or Supply Chain.nbsp; MBA preferred. * Supply Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of working experience in a manufacturing site, ideally with a background in engineering, economics, technology or finance Knowledge amp; Experience * A broad business background and excellent network (i.e. beyond supply to marketing, finance, etc.) * High analytical skills and the right attention for details * A feel for systems and reports * Good communication skills * Systems knowledge: MS Office (especially excellent Excel knowledge) Mars is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
