The Material Resources Planner is responsible for Production Planning functions at the SKU level related to “Make to Stock/Make to Order” products produced/imported/exported from, or to the US in the hydraulic hose categories. Responsible for overall inventory and demand management of all items within these product lines. Reports to the Master Planner with dotted line responsibilies to Plant Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
20% Utilizes Demand Solutions/Oracle/Demand Flow/AFA
20% Responsible for updating planning parameters-including but not limited to Pop Codes, Safety stock levels, and Supply Chain time.
20% Must maintain service level of 95% in order to provide customer satisfaction, market posture and increase profitability
20% Create and maintains inventory forecast, production plan, quality of inventory and performance to plan measurements to support service level and working capital objectives
20% Must continually review and disposition idle, slow moving and excess inventory
QUALIFICATIONS:
BS/BA or equivalent (8 years’ experience)
5 years of experience in inventory planning
Preferred experience with global manufacturing planning and inventory analysis
